Marilyn Mini Skirt – PDF Sewing Pattern

The Marilyn Mini Skirt is a cute fitted mini skirt that flares out from the hips. A typical girlie shape with a bit of an edge. The skirt yoke is lined and the frill is circular cut. The opening is an invisible center back zipper.
This style is good for a beginner sewer learning to sew an invisible zipper.

FABRIC REQUIREMENTS
Type: Woven
This style works best in mid-weight fabrics that hold their shape, think cotton, linen, and poly blends, if you want something a little more floaty, be sure to check that the fabric is not see through as only the yoke is lined (not the frill)
Please ensure your fabric has been washed following the correct care instructions before making the garment to ensure it is preshrunk and you don’t get any nasty surprises after your garment is made up.
